Whew!! 2005 Crush is now history with the last “pressing” completed last week and all wine in barrel and crackling away, going through its malolactic secondary fermentation.  It’s early November and we just had our first hard freeze last night.  The leaves are coming down and having homemade soup for dinner sounds good.
